SNL Video: Amy Poehler Mutters Through Christmas in Cut Sketch

If there’s a petulant teen in your family, consider this your trigger warning.

This Amy Poehler-Kyle Mooney sketch, which was cut from the most recent Saturday Night Live, centers on a pair of fighting siblings who’ve been forced to hang out in a room until they get along.

During their confinement, the kids mutter various threats and insults each others’ way. Will they eventually make up in time to spend one last Christmas with their nana, who is “about two coughs away from being a ghost,” per their mom (played by Kate McKinnon)?

Press PLAY on the video above to find out, then hit the comments: What’s your favorite SNL Christmas sketch?

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

Really wish Amy Poehler should host SNL on her own sometime in the near future instead of co-hosting with BFF Tina Fey and she hasn’t done it since the Season 36 premiere.

  2. Me says:

Come on…I can’t watch this?? I live in Canada, not f’n Timbuktu 😡

  3. This cracked me up. I know kids exactly like this.

  4. Stacy says:

The sketch was really funny, up until the stupid ending.

  5. Hipper says:

What I’m understanding is that most Kyle Mooney sketches are cut.
