Quantico Sneak Peek: Marcia Cross Arrives in D.C. With Something to Hide

Now this is the Marcia Cross we remember.

The Desperate Housewives alumna guest stars in the fall finale of ABC’s Quantico (Sunday, 10/9c), and as you’ll see in the preview clip above, her deceptive smile game — perfected during her eight-year stint on Wisteria Lane — remains very strong.

But what exactly is Cross’ senator character — who also happens to be the mother of Graham Rogers’ Caleb — hiding behind those pearly whites?

Hit PLAY on the video above to pick up on a few clues, then drop a comment below: What do you think is up with Caleb’s mom?

“perfected during her seven-year stint on Wisteria Lane” – um, Desperate Housewives ran for 8 seasons, not 7.

Of course she has something to hide. Everyone on this show does…

I hope she can hide the terrible acting of the guy who plays her son. I’m hoping this episode with the reveal of the bomber will bring me back in, otherwise I’ll be out when it returns in 2016. This show has become a soap opera with a bombing storyline thrown in. And as soap operas go, this one is a plot-driven mess with little to no character development that jumps from one ridiculous twist to the next (not to mention the plot devices that make no sense). Hopefully Marcia Cross can work a miracle and get this once-promising show back on track.

Have you ever watched any if tbe creator other shows (Gossip Girl and Smash)? Was wondering if they were written the same way.

        • Shaun says:

This probably closer to GG than Smash.

        • dan says:

I never watched GG. The creator/exec producer of Quantico did not create Smash. He took over as the exec producer in season two to help solve the problems of season one. At first the show was better, then it started to de-rail and got terrible. They got it back on track for the end of the season which they knew would be the series finale. Very similar to Quantico in terms of ridiculous plot twists, terrible writing, and storylines that made no sense and/or went nowhere. But the cast of Smash was good and they did their best with crappy material. The cast of Quantico is pretty and they look good in Henley shirts and cargo pants, but strong actors they are not.

Josh S was an executive producer and writer on Gossip Girl he was promoted as show runner of Gossip Girl during the fifth season but daring to dair ruined the series and cost him his job how the man that wrote Chair’s famous 3 words 8 letters could ruin the show by indulging in his fanfiction is beyond me Im still waiting for someone to ask him about that mess
