Elementary Richard Kind

Elementary Casts Richard Kind as Sherlock and Joan's Vengeful Neighbor

Life next door to Sherlock Holmes won’t be coming up roses for Gotham alum Richard Kind.

The actor will guest-star on an upcoming Season 4 episode of Elementary, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Kind will play gruff florist Trent Carson, who is so fed up with his noisy, eccentric neighbors, Sherlock and Joan, that he forms a plan to get even.

In addition to playing Mayor Aubrey James on Gotham, Kind’s TV credits include Red Oaks, Burn Notice and Spin City.

Elementary airs Thursdays at 10/9c on CBS.

Vengeful neighbor? I have no idea what that means, but I hope he’ll be a villain with an interesting arc, not just another case of the week.

  3. Mr. Tran K says:

I enjoy Richard Kind dating back to the heydays of Spin City.

Ookay but will we see Moriarty again?

    • Denise White says:

Despite the fact that i absolutely HATE elementary’s version of Moriarty, I hope we will see her gain, this show desperately needs more twists and intrigues.

  6. Tony Lang says:

I always found him good for a smile, but he was phenomenally well cast as the dead-end dad in Red Oaks. I hope he gets more good parts like that one.
