Fox's Rosewood Adds Sherri Shepherd

Fox’s Rosewood is taking a little time to enjoy The View.

The Morris Chestnut-fronted procedural has cast Sherri Shepherd in the recurring role of Dr. Anita Eubanks, a flirtatious medical examiner and longtime friend of the titular private pathologist, our sister site Deadline reports.

Shepherd — whose previous acting credits include The Soul Man, How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock and her eponymous Lifetime series — joins the freshman drama’s growing guest roster, which also includes Murder In the First‘s Taye Diggs and Nicole Ari Parker, and The Game alum Tia Mowry-Hardrict.

Rosewood‘s fall finale airs Wednesday at 8/7c on Fox. (Find out when it will return.)

I was watching this show but lately I dvr it and delete it due to other things I would rather watch. I love the lead actor but I abhor Shephard so the show is probably going off of my record list altogether. Who would ever cast her as a doctor or anyone with more than a high school diploma?

Oh, no! I’m not sure if I’ll be able to tolerate the show with Sherri Shepherd in it. But, I love the show so I’ll give it a few weeks and see if it grows on me. Sigh.
