Arrow/The Flash/Legends of Tomorrow Crossover

Arrow/Flash Crossover Photos: Barry & Pals Hit Star City, Oliver Points a Gun

Hawkgirl, is that you? OK, it could just as easily be Hawkman who’s got Barry and Oliver looking skyward in the first-look image above — from The CW’s upcoming Arrow/The Flash crossover.

Whatever the case, the reunion of the CW’s costumed crusaders is the start of something big, as it will lead into the spinoff DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (premiering Jan. 21).

Unlike last season’s event, this year’s crossover extravaganza truly plays as a two-parter — with the superhero shows swapping cities. The evidence is in the pictures, which feature the Central City gang holding court in the Arrow lair during the Dec. 1 kickoff.

While Barry looks very happy to see pal Felicity, the drama soon takes a serious turn thanks to the immortal villain Vandal Savage. (You know it’s bad when Oliver has pulled out a gun in lieu of his usual weapons.)

Meanwhile, the Arrow hour on Dec. 2 will play a game of How Many Costumed Crimefighters Can You Fit Into a Room?

I dont watch either program but can someone tell me why the guy in green looks so much more muscular than the one in red? Both are superheroes no?

I have been waiting for this second crossover since the end of the epicness that was last year event. But to be honest I am afraid they will spend too much time launching Legends of Tomorrow instead of focusing on the relation between Team Flash and Team Arrow that made the success from last year. I have been disappointed by the way both show methodically brought back Sara, Ray, Firestorm to set them up for the spinoff. It really felt anticlimatic and more like a check list. Can’t wait for it and for the crossover though.

Whats weird is I much prefer a Grounded Arrow (yeah that sounds crazy). You can leave the metahumans and the like in the Flash show. Season 1 and to an extent showed that Arrow could do this.

Im having issues with HIVE. I dont know what its trying to do, why it imploys such useless merc style cannon fodder. (seriously.. the balaclava mercs dont fight well , cant shoot well(straight) and there seems to be a clone factory for them. I just dont get any sense of menace from them.

These photos look good; I’m looking forward to it. The difference between the expression on Oliver’s face and Barry’s in photo 6 tells so much about the difference in their characters.

Can’t say I’m thrilled or excited by this crossover event. Arrow and The Flash have already spent so much valuable time on setting up Legends of Tomorrow, a show I have absolutely no interest in watching. I just want this whole thing to end so I can get my shows back.
