Donald Trump Hosts SNL

Donald Trump and Today Team for Town Hall Discussion, 1-on-1 Interview

NBC Universal’s self-coronation of Donald Trump as a frontrunner in the presidential race now will include a town hall discussion hosted by NBC’s Today.

Today co-host Matt Lauer will moderate the discussion, to be broadcast live from New Hampshire on Monday, Oct. 26. As part of the deal, Lauer will also sit down with Trump for a live one-on-one interview prior to the town hall.

Earlier this week it was announced that Trump would host NBC’s Saturday Night Live on Nov. 7 — an appearance that, unlike Today’s town hall discussion (which qualifies as a “bona fide news interview”), could trigger FCC-dictated “equal time” make-goods for rival candidates, likely in the form of gratis late-night ad time.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

I thought he was going to sue NBC?
    Now this and SNL?
I guess he’s all talk I’m shocked lol

We’re mere days away from NBC’s announcement of their exciting new drama Chcago Trump.

I’m guessing next year’s Miss USA pageant is back on NBC too? And he’ll be back on The Apprentice? Cool, NBC.

  4. The last thing hate mongers like Trump needs is another pulpit from where to voice their vile rhetoric. Is anyone at NBC paying attention to the effect his words are having on the people that support him and the violence they are responsible for, or do they just not care?

  5. cp1945 says:

Is there no equal time law or rule anymore? This seems like network advocacy of a particular candidate. If they were doing this for Hilary, I bet conservatives would be screaming.

No wonder Trump doesn’t need campaign money, he’s on tv screens every single day/minute/second. Not enough maybe for a narcissistic personality like him. Is it November 2016 already?

Who cares about “equal time” – let others buy their way in if they want to be “equal”!
