Mysteries of Laura Sneak Peek: Watch Enrico Colantoni's Tense Return

Wednesday’s Mysteries of Laura (NBC, 8/7c) finds Debra Messing’s titular detective confronting her former captain (Veronica Mars‘ Enrico Colantoni) for the first time since, you know, he tried to kill her in the pilot.

In need of Hauser’s assistance on an old case, Laura arranges a visit in TVLine’s exclusive preview clip — a visit which turns out to be both brief and appropriately hostile.

“So how are the little guys doing?” he asks. “I wanted to send them something for their birthday.”

But Laura isn’t exactly in the mood to chat, telling him, “You lost the right to a friendly conversation with me when you stuck a gun in my face and pulled the trigger.”

Hit PLAY on the preview clip below, then drop a comment with your thoughts on Hauser’s return.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

  1. Writers you must keep Enrico colantoni in!!!!

  2. HAP says:

I read over on Deadline that NBC has ordered 5 more scripts for the show. The original order was for only 13. That said, why did they ax Meg Steadle? I thought she and Messing had great chemistry.

    • A show that has done a 1.2, 1.2 and a 1.14, and NBC ORDERS 5 MORE SCRIPTS(which basically means five more episodes)? Who was the idiot that made that call? Someone please stand up and take responsibility for this! Why not just order the remaining 4 while you’re at it? Someone can’t count to 9? This is the show that is DRAGGING DOWN SVU and possibly CHICAGO PD. The only person accountable at NBC is the last year is Brian Williams. What about Jennifer Selke? Congrats to the MOL fans. SHAME ON NBC.

      • Even more shame. The Wednesday night episode did a 1.03 How does NBC justify asking for 5 more scripts now? What happens if the next new episode goes below a 1.0?is there any doubt that there is something fishy going on at NBC?

        • This is the week MOL fans must come out and watch en masse. The show did a 1.03 last week. If the show goes below a 1.0 this week, NBC should cancel it IMMEDIATELY! CBS should move CODE BLACK to the Wednesday 9 pm slot, but they currently have another show there that is doing well(and how can it not be doing well going up against MOL?) One of the reasons SVU keeps finishing Forth in its timeslot is because it gets ZERO help from MOL. Is there something funny going on between Debra messing and NBC? NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!
