  1. I love post apocalyptic fiction. All this is missing is Taylor hitting the beach sand with his fist.

    • Alex Jones says:

it’s not really like most post apocalyptic works, it’s pretty much a regular fantast series, the fact that it takes place after the apocalyse, is very much downplayed.

      • That’s sort of unfortunate. One thing that does appeal to me about this is watching these sort of people in places from our world. Like Thundarr (if you’re too young to know what Thundarr is, go to Youtube, lol).

  2. DL says:

This looks surprisingly good. I wonder what the budget is. It’s probably more than other MTV originals, but even so I can’t help thinking the effects team must be quite talented to make their funds pay off so well.

  3. Ray says:

This looks really cool. Shadowhunters’ production looks so much worse by comparison.

  4. Alyse says:

It looks really good! I just hope they don’t include a love triangle.

  5. Kristina says:

Can NOT wait! I started reading these books when I was a kid and have loved them ever since. Very excited!

  6. Kate says:

Not quite sure about this… I don’t think I’ll be tuning in.

  7. druss says:

Wow. This is going to be so cool. Makes me want next year to start already! Hope they stay close to the books.

They better not screw this up. Shannara is one of my top three series of all time. Wheel of Time, Song of ice and fire, and this. I would have pictured Allanon as much much older though. Like Gandalf old
