Happy Endings, The Office Favorites Eye Spy Comedy at Fox

Maybe they should call it One Degree of Mindy?

Fox is developing a comedy pilot produced by two former costars of Mindy Kaling: Adam Pally (Happy Endings, The Mindy Project) and Paul Lieberstein (The Office), according to our sister site Deadline.

Niether, Pally (who played the series-regular character of Peter Prentice on Mindy for a season and a half) nor Lieberstein (who played The Office‘s hapless Toby while also serving as executive producer), is attached to appear in the potential project.

Lieberstein and Jon Gabrus (Younger) will co-write, with the latter being eyed to star.

While little is known about the plot, the potential series will reportedly examine the lighter side of the espionage game.

Happy Adam got a show pilot as a producer.

  3. Ashleigh says:

Paul Lieberstein was a good writer for The Office. I wonder if Pally will end up appearing in it after all. I’ve never thought of him as anything other than an actor, but he’s really good at that.
