Jason Bateman Ozark Drama

TVLine Items: Jason Bateman's New Gig, Two-Part X-Files Trailer and More

There’s always money in the banana stand, and that’s really going to help Jason Bateman in his next role.

The Arrested Development actor has signed on to exec-produce, direct and star in Ozark, a drama series currently being shopped to premium cable and digital outlets.

Though details of the hour-long project are being kept under wraps, our sister site Deadline reports that Ozark — which is set in Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks — focuses on the dark and dangerous world of drug-money laundering.

Ozark will begin production in Spring 2016.

I am so excited for Monday!

  2. Mr. Tran K says:

Does anyone know if Showtime is planning a free preview of the Homeland Season 5 premiere?

  3. Drew says:

Well, great. Now I have to watch Minority Report again.
Or possibly wait for the trailer to be on YouTube. Might do that instead.

  4. Lynn says:

They won’t get me to watch it again and I don’t watch Gotham either. It will be all over the internet right after it airs anyway. I’d rather wait to watch it after it hits the Internet then sit through either one of those show again.
