National Dog Day: TV's 17 Biggest Cads

Raise the ruff, it’s National Dog Day!

To commemorate the hound-themed holiday, we’re giving paws to dishonor some two-legged strays — we’re talking about television’s legendary lotharios. Gossip Girl‘s Chuck Bass? Check. Mad Men‘s Don Draper? MmhmmHow I Met Your Mother? Oh, hell yes.

Check out the gallery below — or click here for direct access — to view our ranking of TV’s 17 biggest cads, then hit the comments to weigh in on our selections and (if you must) point out the meandering mutts we missed!

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

Love The Santa Barbara Mason mention, but no Tad the CAD Martin of All My Children?

    The name says it all.

Good call. Definitely deserves a spot on the list.
I’d also nominate Alan Shore of Boston Legal, along with any number of leads from USA shows, but particularly Neal Caffrey and Harvey Specter.

  2. Erin B says:

Love that Larry Dallas made the list!

  3. Snsetblaze says:

I’m not sure I would have put Jason Stackhouse on the list (but I did not watch the last season). He’s more dumb.

Also, wouldn’t Pete, Roger and Harry all qualify from Mad Men?

  4. Steve says:

No Russell Dunbar (David Spade) from Rules of Engagement? How is that possible?

I don’t care Sinclair if you do it to every single cable company I’ll just get my antenna and won’t pay anybody this is just about money and if you can’t handle your business without cutting the American people you don’t need to be in business
