Revenge Video: Emily and Jack Love It Up in Deleted Scene From Season 4

Revenge might have ended its fourth season with newlyweds Emily and Jack sailing off into the sunset, but it certainly didn’t start out that way.

In fact, Emily and Jack weren’t even dating at the top of the ABC drama’s final outing, but as you’ll see in TVLine’s exclusive deleted scene from the Season 4 DVD — hitting shelves on Aug. 25 — it wasn’t for lack of trying.

“I don’t want you to be sorry … I want you to be happy,” Jack tells Emily in a moment that didn’t quite make it into Episode 405, “Repercussions.” This lovely sentiment is followed by a kiss on the cheek, a stroking of the hair and a stare that lingers far too long for two people who are allegedly ‘just friends.’

Hit PLAY on the deleted scene above, then drop a comment below: Are you glad these two ended up together?

Oh, man! This is so good.

  2. Kim says:

Having Emily end up with Jack completely destroyed the image they spent four years building up of her being a smart ninja. They regressed Emily to a nine year old child. Shame. No wonder they didn’t date, what would they have talked about? They had nothing in common.

  3. Dennis says:

Andy, thank you SO much for posting this!!

  4. Noelle says:

Glad they ended up together and I thought the ending was great. So many of these series don’t get the chance to tie up the loose ends and give the fans some type of conclusion. So I was very happy that this series gave us what we wanted to see.

  5. 88 says:

Ughhhhh. Just when I thought I made peace with it ending…

  6. WingsStef says:

A great scene! Sometimes shows take away good ones! This one scene was pretty short. I wished they could have found a way to keep it in, but oh well!

  7. kn1231 says:

Damn, I am going to miss Revenge. I may start re-watching the series this fall on Sundays just to pretend its still going lol

  8. Kelly Deeny says:

I’m very glad they ended up together. Whether they were arguing or pining for one another, these two characters had a lot of chemistry. It was the small moments, like in this deleted scene, that kept the relationship moving forward.

  9. N says:

    I miss Nolan!

    • graze says:

Me too. Gabriel’s going to be a guest star on Mysteries of Laura second season playing a billion dollar nano-tech company co-founder so looking forward to seeing him be kind of like Nolan.

  10. Diane says:

Thanks for the clip, wish it was left in, but I won’t complain because they were together in the end.

  11. dee123 says:

Everyone should of died besides Nolan & Jack.

  12. Jess says:

Out of all the possible guys they could’ve let her end up with (Daniel, Aiden, Ben, even Nolan though they never went there), they decided on the worst option. Figures

  13. lot of sour grapes from those who wanted her with someone else but she and Jack were soulmates like it or not

  14. Rena Bejt says:

what a sweeeeeeeeeeeet moment!!! can’t get enough of those amazing eyes of his!.
that kiss is sweet but better off deleted- better off waiting till later for Jack to show his feelings.

guess it wasn’t ‘Revengy’ style to end on a good note for Jack and Emily- as much as I love him- he probably should have died, or left her for good, but no one is complaining on their love scene [just too short maybe… ;)]

  15. lana says:

they don’t ‘love it up’! he pecked her on the cheek….this show went from awesome to a bit of a flop. and they ending – couldn’t they all just have become a nice little family or something……

  16. katie says:

tjis scene is so good…they never should have deleted this scene
still so happ they ended up together

  17. starrSOCIAL says:

They were SUPPOSED to end up together! But one thing that should of happened:

Emily and Jack should have ACTUALLY dated somewhere between Season 1 and Season 4. The reason them ending up together was so weird and seemed rushed was because all they ever really shared was a kiss and that was what, Season 1 (or 2?)?! If they had dated before, we could have had some connection… I felt they thought them not being together was creating a big buildup that we would love right at the end! But we didn’t! BECAUSE WE DIDN’T GET TO ENJOY THEM BEING TOGETHER….
    just saying.
