Syfy Pilot Cast

24's Dennis Haysbert, Stargate's David Hewlett Join Syfy's Incorporated Pilot

Onetime 24 POTUS Dennis Haysbert and Stargate franchise alum David Hewlett have boarded the cast of the Syfy drama pilot Incorporated.

Set in a future world where companies have unlimited power, the project stars Sean Teale (Reign) as Ben Larson, an executive who is forced to change his identity in order to infiltrate a cut-throat corporate world and save the woman he loves.

Haysbert, whose TV credits also include Backstrom, Trophy Wife and The Unit, will fill the series regular role of Julian, the head of security at SPIGA, the mega-conglomerate Ben must infiltrate. Hewlett meanwhile will play Chad, a high-level SPIGA suit who has attained his success by taking credit for the achievements of his subordinates.

Also joining the cast is Ian Tracey (Wayward Pines, Continuum, The 100… veritably anything that has ever filmed in Canada), as a corrupt businessman who could become a threat to Ben’s plans.

The Incorporated pilot also stars Julia Ormond (Mad Men), Georgina Haig (Fringe) and Eddie Ramos (Teen Wolf).

Dangit, I was planning on not watching this, but now I think I have to!

  8. Emor says:

So what is the deal with all the anti-corporate shows (Continuum, Dark Mater, Killjoys) coming out of Vancouver? Are the Socialists in Canada taking over?… I kid, but seriously, what’s in the water up there.

    • Bartimeus says:

I’ve said the same thing in a couple places today, as far as pointing out how many shows that feature powerful and evil corps but corporations do already have incredible power and it’s a future that could too easily come true and it’s a gold mine for fiction. Mr Robot comes to mind as well.

      • Psycho Geek says:

Just look at Microsoft and Windows 10. For law enforcement to do the amount of microphone taping, key logging, monitoring, recording, password grabbing and file accessing that Microsoft does, it would take some serious warrants with plenty of evidence backing them up. Yet, good ole evil corp Microsoft, does that with nary a blink from its users.

  9. Bring HEWLETT Gosh i love this guy !

  10. Bark Star says:

” … and save the woman he loves”

And that is where you lost me.

  11. Carol_R says:

The show sounds really bad. I don’t have any issues with the actors cast in it but the premise doesn’t sound interesting at all.

  12. Vi says:

Not sure if I want to get started on any other Syfy shows. All the shows I watched on Syfy are already canceled including the recently canceled Haven 😢
