Ratings: NFL Hall of Fame Game Dominates, Big Brother Hits Highs

NBC Sunday Night Football‘s coverage of the NFL Hall of Fame game on Sunday averaged 9.7 million total viewers and a 3.2 rating during primetime, up sharply versus last year and easily dominating the night in both measures.

Over on CBS, Big Brother (6.7 mil/2.1) rose 6 percent and two tenths week-to-week, hitting season highs for a Sunday telecast.

ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise (3.7 mil/1.2) ticked up from its week-ago launch, while Boston Trauma (3.1 mil/0.6) dipped two tenths.

Cable ratings (e.g. True Detective’s Season 2 finale) quite famously come in much, much later, and as merited are reported under separate cover.
