New Limitless Promo Hints at Hero's Many Mad, NZT-Enhanced Skills

Forget the whole “playing chicken with a subway car” thing. The mystery pill at the heart of CBS’ new Limitless drama also can help you get in some wicked licks on a guitar, and maybe get the girl along the way.

Premiering Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 10/9c, the follow-up to the 2011 movie of the same name finds Bradley Cooper’s NZT-enhanced politician, Edward Mora, entrusting a slacker named Brian (Shameless‘ Jake McDorman) with the powers of the mystery drug that affords access to “every brain cell.”

As seen in the new promo above — which does a riff on the famous 1980s egg-in-a-frying pan anti-drug campaign — Brian not only can gauge just how far he can drop from a fire escape (which you have to admit is a pretty specific skill), but he excels in many other, fun ways.

Watch the new promo then tell us: Will you sample Limitless?

Never saw the movie but I’m really NOT looking forward to watching Limitless. CBS’ prime time schedule continues to be 100% grueling. Complain all you want ’cause I hate when people lie while commenting or replying.

It’s great too see how the pilot has taken the safe route of keeping the pilot similar to the original storyline, I’m confident this will last multiple seasons and satisfy my craving for a continue on the movie. :)
