Late Show Colbert Promos

Stephen Colbert's Late Show Promos Wield Magic, Mitt and a 'Dreamboat'

With just five weeks to go until Stephen Colbert makes his debut as the new Late Show host, CBS on Sunday night debuted a trio of teasers for the talker.

In the first promo, Colbert astounds and amazes (2 percent of, me included) us with a card trick. In another, he shows how he is ready to go “back to school,” complete with a Trapper Keeper plastered with the face of his newsman “dreamboat.”

And in the last spot, Mitt Romney puts in a cameo — whether Colbert believes it or not.

Will you be tuning in for Late Show’s new regime on Sept. 8?

So excited come September 8th. Hope Colbert should give Fallon & Kimmel a run for their money. CBS is ready to shake up late night TV with Colbert & Corden.

Hehe, all those ads were cute :D. The first one sounded quite “Colbert Report”-esque. And I gotta give Mitt a bit of kudos for having some fun with his role in the last ad.
I’ve really missed seeing Colbert on TV. It’ll be great to have him back-if these ads are any indication, I think we’ll be in for a good show :). Can’t wait.

Off in search of a Charlie Rose Trapper Keeper. Be back soon! ;)

I didn’t watch his CC show, but I REALLY wish CBS had gotten either daniel tosh or amy schumer, both could have ‘mainstreamed’ their material, .i’m sure he’s funnier than these lame ads, but yikes, I think there’s some inside jokes, because it’s just not funny at all.

I’m loving fallon’s show, the battle is clearly for #2 ratings.

Wow, I WAS amazed by the card trick promo. He actually picked my card! Can’t wait for Colbert to be back on my TV.

  6. Nope! I won’t be watching. I’ll be sleeping. But, have fun, everyone!
