its a bummer Astronaut Wives Club will only be 10 episodes & from what I understand, only air this summer. I love the show and I think it does a great job of showcasing a perspective during a period of history that is often overlooked. While the lives of the women, their relationships with one another & with their husbands are obviously the main focus, I very much enjoy the fact that the lives of the astronauts are not completely ignored. They do a great job of showing just enough of the astronauts interacting with one another at the office and socially, to give depth, reference & understanding to the main stories. Personally, I think its well written, well acted & the costumes, make-up and music draw you right in.

I dont really get the Astronaut Wives Club really. I mean, this should be an 8 year/season show, not the way they are doing it. It is too fast and I can’t even figure out who is who yet. You don’t really care about any of the characters because they are like 1 episode killed off or moved on, while I am still trying to figure out what their name is. And it jumps so fast I’m like “who are those teenagers? oh wait, it jumped forward in time again, even though the parents look EXACTLY the same” And is it just me or do they make light of the deaths. Like Gus. Oh well, Gus is dead, move on. Even though that was a really weird tragic death. They didn’t even explain what happened. Just said, there was an accident. That was putting it lightly. This show is just too all over the place.
