Knock Knock Cancelled

Fox Cancels Seacrest's Knock Knock

Knock Knock Live has been Ding-Dong Ditched, pulled from Fox’s schedule after just two airings.

The Ryan Seacrest-hosted feel-good effort premiered last week to just 1.7 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, besting only CW reruns on that night.

In its second outing, it dipped to 1.6 mil and a 0.5 — despite the presence of the almighty Bieber.

In its place, a one-hour Last Man on Earth rerun will fill the Tuesdays-at 9 time slot on Aug. 4. From there on, a combo of Brooklyn Nine-Nine/Last Man repeats will occupy the hour.

I one episode, “almost”, started laughing out loud it was so bad! How can it be live when tons of people are crowded around a door and every bodies home and in make up? As if real people are excited to see a celebrity at their door. They should have named the show,Ding Dong Ditch and see the people come out a chase down the celebrity.

I tried to watch knock knock but it was so stupid, i turned it off half way through. It was uncomfortable to watch…Ryan really blew it with this premise. Sorry…Love everything else he does.

  8. Jack Gleason says:

I refuse to watch anything Ryan Seacrest is a part of.

  9. Temperance says:

It was so incredibly embarrassing to watch the 10th anniversary of SOYou THin You Can Dance; it was difficult to tel if it was an actual show, or just a fake out to get you to watch an hour of promo material for the stupid Knock, Knock. After the third (of at least hirty) times it was mentioned, I swore never to watch a second more of the drek – ever.

The CW should pick up #StudioCity to fill the spot!

Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for Seacrest. Never saw the appeal of him.

Two episodes were two too many.

Come on, Fox, it was phenomenally craptastic! I just love watching Seacrest fail.

  15. Maybe the fact that Bieber was there was the reason for the small ratings….

  16. Ms. B says:

I got bored with this show because it was so UNREAL, the families that won seemed to be acting because of the way everyone would be crowded behind the doors when there was THE knock at the door. SO FAKE!

  17. Didn’t watch it but he should stick to hosting shows like American Idol.

  18. Judy says:

So disappointed it got taken out! I loved it!
