Ash Vs. Evil Dead's Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless Promise Blood, More Blood and 'Boo-Boo Words'

There’s only one hero who trash-talks demons, boasts Bruce Campbell — and that happens to be his title character in the upcoming Ash Vs. Evil Dead series.

But if that’s not enough reason for you to tune into Starz’s spinoff of Sam Raimi’s big-screen horror franchise, Campbell promises the cabler gave the production “unrestricted unrestriction” — meaning there was no need to shoot additional takes to cut back on blood splatter or salty language.

Campbell, Raimi and co-star Lucy Lawless give up all that intel and much more during their chat with Michael Ausiello at TVLine’s Comic-Con suite at the Hard Rock Hotel — but there’s one request they refuse to grant: Spilling any of the one-liners fans will hear when Ash Vs. Evil Dead premieres Saturday, Oct. 31 at 9/8c.

“One-liners are like gold,” Campbell says incredulously, arguing that our resident scoop-getter should give him $1,000 every time he offers up a zinger from the script.
