Briefcase Sneak Peek: Will Pro-Life Views Affect One Family's Choice?

Loading video...

Tonight on the season finale of The Briefcase (CBS, 8/7c), one couple gets an interesting eyeful when they visit to the other family’s hometown — as seen in this exclusive sneak peek.

In possession of one briefcase loaded with $100,000 are Gabe and Krystal Moya of Albuquerque, high school sweethearts whose finances hit rock bottom in 2009. Yet through the hard times, they remained positive — and determined to raise their kids with strong faith.

The other briefcase-holders are Amari Vendely and Natalie Salgado of Miami, a husband and wife who hit a rough patch when Natalie lost her job as a medical assistant. What’s more, the parents of two are juggling expenses for Amari’s transition, from female to male.

In the clip above, Amari and Natalie visit the Land of Enchantment, where they spy the Moya family engaging in pro-life ministry, across the street from a Planned Parenthood. How will the Vendely/Salgados react? Press play to find out.

  1. Goodness gracious. This is the most pandering show ever created. Even worse than wife swap. Cbs, just stop please

  2. Shaun says:

Bringing kids to protests is dirty pool since they can’t form an informed opinion.

  3. Tobi says:

Never watched this show yet, but I might actually catch it tonight because of the positive message it’s finally sending about the real Christian Pro Lifers. And as far as bringing children, I see no problem with it. Children are a lot smarter than many give them credit for! Their thoughts on abortion, in it’s most broken down form are way more insightful and honest than the most hard core Pro-Life or Pro-Choice adults!

  4. H says:

When It Comes to abort this show I am pro choice.

  5. Mr. Tran K says:

Even though CBS has no word on the fate of The Briefcase, my money’s on the series to be “one and done” in other words – canceled.

  6. I think that is a gods gift so give back if I had that change I know I would because I know it hard out there with only one of us working because I lost my job so my wife had to go to work and make less money than me I need back surgery don’t have the money and have two little kids so I know how it is I would give I have to sell scrap metal just to pay my bills and that doesn’t even work half the time if it wasn’t for me living in my mom and step dad house we wouldn’t have nowhere to live so give back that is what god would do it’s about giving not receiving and it’s hard for us to make it with me haveing a second grade reading level and I’m only 37 years old with back problems

Really enjoyed the show…brought a lot of tears but I love it

  8. The funny part is so far the ‘Christians have given the lest to those in far more grave situations than the non-traditional families. “God” if he existed would never base a choice on helping a family of 5 sharing a single bedroom on this supposed and in fact not proofed out as ‘faith’. The people that scream faith were the two families that were the greediest losers and outdone by the families that were non traditional with REAL insight into what is good and moral. All these losers did was prove “Christianity” is a front for psychos that want everyone to be remain ignorant and selfish losers. Hypocrites like the so called Family values idiots like Limbaugh who changes wives when the viagra stops working. Palin who still pretends this is only the 2nd unwed pregnancy of the wanna be GOP Kardashing Bristal.. people that have any true morality do not need to scream these fake “I’m a Christian” lines while doing things in direct contradiction of the “Bible.” You should see them freak when you prove they believe in the same exact god as Muslims. My favorite was the one that could not deny it anymore so said oh well that was before their god stopped being the real God… you mean your God has a dissociative identity ???????????? cool. idiots.

YES!!! Couldn’t have said it better myself!!! Finally…someone who gets “it.” The Moya’s truly disgust me and are an embarrassment to Albuquerque & the entire country! They have no right to be judgmental; their mindset, actions & thoughts are truly appalling. They act like they are the “God” and think their “way” of life is the only way. Yes, exactly right…they are losers! They are bigots & racists. It made me sick to watch this episode… It’s unfortunate that their kids will endure this type of racism as they grow up. Clearly, the other lovely family from Miami was in much more need of money and 100 times more deserving. Advice for the Moya’s…if you’re struggling financially…STOP having kids and use some contraceptives like a people with common sense! Hello, wake up! And by the way Krystal, you look like a clown with all that makeup on your face!

It was great seeing a devout Catholic family like the Moyas on prime-time TV! Keep the faith, Moyas!
