Starz has gone on a serious Power trip.
Less than a week after its Season 2 debut, the crime drama has been renewed for a 10-episode third season, the premium cabler announced Wednesday.
Power‘s June 6 season premiere brought in 1.4 million total viewers — tripling its June 2014 series debut, up 32 percent versus its freshman finale and delivering the largest audience ever for a Starz season premiere.
Production on Season 3 will begin in Brooklyn this September, with a premiere slated for 2016.
