Girl Meets World Sets Week-Long Season 2 Premiere for May

Girl Meets World Season 2

Fresh off last month’s big date-themed finale, the Girl Meets World crew is already plotting its return for Season 2 — and it’s sooner than you might think.

The premiere, titled “Girl Meets Gravity,” will air Monday, May 11 at 8:30/7:30c, our sister site Variety reports. Additional new episodes will air every night that week.

As previous reported, Girl‘s second season will re-introduce even more characters from Boy Meets World, including Anthony Tyler Quinn as Mr. Turner, Will Friedle as Eric Matthews (who makes his first appearance during premiere week), Trina McGee-Davis as Angela Moore and Blake Clark as the late Chet Hunter.

Interestingly enough, there’s still some newness coming your way before the Season 2 premiere. “Girl Meets Demolition,” a sort-of leftover episode, airs April 17 (8:30/7:30c) and guest-stars Debby Ryan and Jackée Harry.

The show’s first season officially concluded last month with Riley and Lucas’ first official date, which went surprisingly well, considering Cory strong-armed Maya and Farkle into tagging along as chaperones.

Disney Channel has some weird scheduling. LOL

  2. Julia says:

Very excited. The more they incorporate the characters from Boy Meets World, the happier I am. I’ve been patiently waiting for things to settle in and I’m finally happy with the format of GMW.

  3. Kyle says:

5 NEW episodes in one week? Part of me wishes they wouldn’t blow through new episodes so fast. I’d rather they have a new one every other week to avoid long breaks.

  4. iHeart says:

Jessie meets world? (needs to happen before Jessie ends)

    • Candy says:

Jessie has already finished production, so there are no chances of this. Plus, most of the fandom can agree that we don’t want GMW to crossover with any of the other Disney Channel shows. That would just ruin everything.

  5. One word: Feeeeeeeneeeey!

    Where is he?

  6. Joey Padron says:

Great news they’ll do a week long first new episodes of season 2! Can’t wait to see leftover episode from season 1!

  7. Dude says:

So it seems they’re taking the NBC “finally get a hit and run it into the ground” approach to scheduling.

  8. Taylor Love Carver says:

Very Excited and I hope to see that Lucus and Riley like have another Date and I hope that they get closer like how Austin and Ally are in Austin and Ally.
