Late Night Video: Seth Meyers Invites Game of Thrones Fave to Dinner Party

Maybe it’s all that time he spent up at The Wall, but is Jon Snow a terrible dinner-party guest or what?

On Tuesday’s Late Night, the popular Game of Thrones character — portrayed by Kit Harington — was transplanted from Westeros to Manhattan to attend an intimate dinner party at Seth Meyers‘ home.

Though Meyers pulls Jon aside with some tips on how to make appropriate small talk, the conversation quickly turns into a retelling of events from the HBO series (which returns Sunday). The Red Wedding, Oberyn Martell’s eye-popping death, an in-joke about Jon Snow’s mom — it’s all here.

Press PLAY on the video above to watch the uncomfortable evening (featuring 30 Rock‘s John Lutz) unfold.

    1) This was awesome.
    .
    2) Its sad to me (and proof the SNL system is broken) that stuff like this and skits other former SNL hosts have done on their talk shows arent actually on SNL. Its what happen when someone funny has more than a week to plan and write a skit. Seth and Jimmy have had such insanely hilarious skits and filmed segments yet 99% of the time SNL is a snore fest. Sad.

Blanking on the stuff in the picture, behind chair, with the knives? What’s that supposed to be?

Great skit. And well played. Just loved it and want more like it. Clever stuff from Seth.
