Reign Sneak Peek: Is Greer and Leith's Happy Ending Still Possible?

Loading video...

Prepare yourselves, Reign fans — especially those fans of a Greer-Leith persuasion — because you’re about to get an eyeful.

The forbidden lovers attempt to get some privacy in TVLine’s exclusive clip from Thursday’s episode (The CW, 9/8c), but as you’ll see, the best laid plans… actually, that’s probably not the best choice of words.

After a day out in the village — yes, out in public — the couple retires to Greer’s room, though the fun is quickly interrupted by a most unwelcome visitor. (The perils of living in a brothel, I suppose.)

And that’s when Leith busts out the real surprise…

Hit PLAY on the preview clip above, then drop a comment below: What are your hopes for Greer and Leith, as well as those back at French Court?

Love them! Hope they get a happy ending.

  2. ABC says:

These two are the only reason I am still paying attention to Reign. Mary is the worst character on the show, but I watch to catch glimpses of Greer, Leith, and Catherine is still awesome.

    • Kim&Bey says:

Yes Mary is the worst because she does not want to go back to the husband who claims to love her yet he fathered a bastard child with her best friend, murdered his father which then in-turn led to him being blackmailed by Narcisse which then led to Mary’s attack by the protestants. Yes Mary is indeed despicable for trying all she can to try and put her worst nightmare behind her. SMH!

      • Lynn says:

LOL Did you forget that Mary was engaged to his brother when Francis slept with Lola? Was he supposed to wait around forever?! Also, he had to kill Henry because his own father was planning to kill him that very night and then take Mary as his wife! Don’t you remember the scene where Henry is talking about putting the poison on Francis’ plate during dinner?! Also, Henry was responsible for the death of all those soldiers during the re-enactment. Mary and Catherine had already tried to have Henry killed as well.

Mary is responsible for the death of Narcisse’s son and that’s why Narcisse started with the whole blackmail. But, of course, Mary never gets blamed for anything. Recovering from a horrific rape and wanting to commit adultery doesn’t make any sense whatsoever! And yes, Francis truly loves Mary and has been nothing but supportive by even permitting Mary to commit treason by sleeping with Conde! SMH

        • Kim&Bey says:

Mary was engaged to Bash because she thought she was saving Francis’ life. All she did was kiss Bash throughout her engagement with Bash. Francis was not supposed to wait forever but did he really have to sleep with one of Mary’s ladies
          and best friends!
Yes Mary may have killed Narcisse’s son but if you know anything about Narcisse you would know that he is an opportunist; with or without the death of his son he would have still found a way to control the king, which then just happened to be blackmail.
Mary is still a victim in all this, that attack was no small thing and all she is trying to do is find some peace & happiness…it is Francis’ duty to protect her because he brought all this upon his marriage. Obviously Francis can do no wrong!

          • Lynn says:

Of course, it wasn’t the smartest move on his part to sleep with Lola but at that point Francis never planned to return to Court or see Mary again. You should be mad at Lola, if anyone, since she was returning to Court and would be seeing her friend every day.

Mary’s actions are what started the blackmail but I do agree that Narcisse is an opportunist. As we learned after Henry’s death, the nobles have a great deal of input with the king so they try to influence him by any means. After Narcisse decided on the blackmail plot, he discovered that Francis killed Henry, not before so that wasn’t the reason for it.

Look at your logic. You’re condemning Francis for sleeping with Lola while you’re totally fine with Mary committing adultery and treason that could result in her death. The rape was horrible but it does not excuse Mary’s having sex with Conde. Obviously, in your eyes, Mary can do no wrong but there are always two sides to every story. To blindly blame everything on Francis is ridiculous.

    Finally Leith is shirtless? *drools*

But yeah the second season has been disappointing. Bring back the juicy mysteriousness of the first season!
