First New Scandal Photos Invite the Question: Olivia's Gone How Long?!

Scandal resumes Season 4 on Thursday, Jan. 29 — yet ABC has not released any photos from that winter premiere. Instead, the first photos are from the following episode, airing Feb. 5, and the news is grim: Olivia apparently still is missing.

For one, the episode is titled, “Where’s the Black Lady?” — words, I will predict, that come out of the mouth of OPA visitor Marla Gibbs (The Jeffersons). Secondly, the synopsis reads, “With Olivia still missing, the team comes together to do whatever it takes to find her and get her home safely.”

Lastly, the look of anxiety/anguish on the faces of Quinn, Jake et al in the photo gallery below triple-confirm that all is not yet right in the District of Columbia.

What’s your current theory on Liv’s whereabouts? Did VP Andrew indeed have her grabbed, or did a friendly get to her first?

Looking forward to seeing Marla Gibbs. I hope she’s playing a take-no-prisoners character type she does so well.

  2. TAL says:

I think both Andrew NIchols and Papa Pope had a hand in Liv’s disappearance. The two are working together to forever separate Fitz and Olivia, and bring Fitz to his knees

  3. herman1959 says:

I’m not even going to try to figure it out, I’m just along for the ride on this one. I am looking forward seeing Marla Gibbs, though.

  4. Coal. says:

Its so wonderful to see tv show a about a strong, independent woman whom’s life doesn’t revolve around a man, wait

  5. Cheyenne says:

Okay Shonda, you finally did it. Scandal has jumped the effing shark. I don’t know where you think you are taking the show with this idiotic plot twist, but I’ll be back when Olivia is back. Until then, I am DONE.
