Blake Shelton will make his Saturday Night Live debut — and then some — on Jan. 24, serving as both host and musical guest.

The Voice coach’s latest album, “Bringing Back the Sunshine,” debuted in October at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

NBC’s Saturday Night Live resumes Season 40 on Jan. 17, with host Kevin Hart and musical guest Sia.

Looks like there’ll be a rare viewing of SNL in my house on the Jan 24.

I’ve been waiting forever for him to host. Love Blake.

  4. Eric says:

This is awesome, and the NBC synergy makes sense. Blake is hilarious, saw him in concert last summer and he was a great performer. Music was on point and he knew how to keep the crowd entertained. Looking forward to this.

Day has been made! Not a country music fan, but Blake is adorable and sweet and hilarious. CAN’T WAIT.

  6. Ryan says:

I hope his episode isn’t as spiteful and unfunny as his holiday special.

  7. CK says:

I’ll watch it since Blake is hosting, but my snl expectations are remarkably low this season. I’m guessing there will be a voice sketch/cold open w/ Jay as Pharrell, an Adam cameo, and about 5 sketches of him playing a southern father.
