I am really enjoying the Jane and Lisbon interactions this season along with the overall lighthearted happier mood of the show. I could have watched 2 or 3 seasons like this… To bad it took til the final (short) season to get there.

The show needs to end with Jane coming out of hypnotized state with Red John sitting across the room taunting him and Jane realizing it was all just a suggestion by Red John.

Then Netflix buys the show and re-brands the shows as The Mentalist 2.0: Red John Killing Mysteries

    • Ani says:

Ooh I like that! And maybe red john has killed Lisbon aswell. I’m not loving the lighter tone since red john was killed. Also, isn’t jane required to work for the fbi as part of his arrangement to avoid prosecution for killing red john?

Thanks for the sneak peek, Matt! Loving this season, can’t get enough of Jane and Lisbon, their chemistry is just too special! I wish they’d have done it before

  4. Luis says:

Would walking away be that easy for Jane, considering the nature of his “deal” with the Bureau? Where else would he get the mental stimulation and consistent source of amusement he’s found there?

I just love The Mentalist and also enjoy Jane and Lisbon interact this season. I think this is so well written and I so enjoy every episode and am very sad that this is the last season. So tired of watching loud,foul-mouthed trashy “housewives” and other mindless reality shows. They can’t compare with shows like The Mentalist. It’s sad to see what television has come to.

PLEASE tell me who does the last song on the Mentalist from February 4, 2015? Thanks so much. It was beautiful.
