Video: Is Fox's Backstrom a Rat-Faced Podiatrist, or a Lesbian Terrorist?

Detective Lieutenant Everett Backstrom is good at catching bad guys because of how he puts himself inside their head, as explained in the promo below for Fox’s upcoming crime drama.

Premiering Thursday, Jan. 22 at 9/8c and adapted from the Leif G.W. Persson novels by Bones‘ Hart Hanson, Backstrom stars Rainn Wilson (The Office) as the titular detective, who has recently been appointed head of the Portland police department’s SCU.

Rounding out the cast are Genevieve Angelson (House of Lies), Dennis Haysbert (24), Kristoffer Polaha (Life Unexpected), Beatrice Rosen (The Dark Knight) and Page Kennedy (Weeds). Will you be checking it out?

everything that Dwight wanted to be!

  2. Tran says:

Can’t believe David Palmer from 24 is in a terrible new Fox series opposite Rainn Wilson best known from his work in The Office (NBC) and his great run on Six Feet Under (HBO). He was also great on The Unit (CBS).

  3. A says:

I don’t know how I feel about this getting House feeling from this, instead of doctor it is detective who is cocky/douchey main character who is right all the time and treat everybody harsh/bitch all the time while they are suppose to be smarter than him.

  4. Jake says:

Good to see Rainn Wilson and Hasbert, looks like this may be a decent show.
