Resurrection Season 2 Ratings

The midseason finale of ABC’s Revenge bounced back from last week’s series low rating by drawing 4.6 million viewers and a 1.2 rating this Sunday, up 12 percent and two tenths.

Opening ABC’s night, Once Upon a Time (6.1 mil/2.0) dipped 5 percent and a tenth, while Resurrection (3.9 mil/1.0) ticked up 5 percent and a tenth.

Elsewhere….

NBC | Sunday Night Football (18.2 mil/6.1) is down two tenths from last week’s fast nationals.

FOX | An NFL-boosted Simpsons (6.4 mil/2.8) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (4.3 mil/2.1) saw significant gains, while Family Guy (4.4 mil/2.2) was steady. Bob’s Burgers (3.2 mil/1.6) was up sharply.

Loved mentalist and revenge last night.

  2. DL says:

Glad Revenge is back up, kinda figured it would be. Still think this should probably be the last season, though. It’s been a blast and I’d love to see the show go out on a high (as long as they have notice to craft a proper ending).

  3. Gerri says:

Once should tick up again now that the Frozen/Snow Queen storyline is finished.

  4. Jill says:

I have tried to get into Revenge, but there is just something about Emily VanCamp’s acting that I just don’t like.

  5. Moment says:

Those Nielsen viewers have lost interest in the Frozen storyline, such a shame. Regardless, hopefully 4b holds up and Season 5 happens.

OUAT needs to stop doing the same thing twice every season. New villain for 10/11 episodes, then kill villain and replace with another villain/relative. It’s predictable and sad. Maybe the figure since they have Season 5 in the bag with syndication, they can phone it in. Really, though, they haven’t been trying at originality since Season 1. I guess Adam and Eddy spent years coming up with that and didn’t think beyond it, so they kept doing that season’s villain/curse thing over and over with different villains and curses. It’s sad that the actors have to defend this. Recycling is a good thing, but not for plotlines!

Revenge deserves at least 5 million every week, not happy ratings so low!

  8. I think that Resurrection ticked up because The Walking Dead isn’t on anymore. I was switching the channel after Once Upon a Time to TWD, but now that it’s on break, I kept it there to watch Resurrection.
