Girls Season 4: New Trailer Reveals Even More Hannah-Adam Tension

The future has never been more uncertain for the girls of Girls.

A new trailer for the HBO comedy’s upcoming fourth season, premiering Jan. 11 (9/8c), finds Hannah and her harem of hipsters struggling, as always, to move past the various social, emotional and self-constructed obstacles in their lives.

For our leading lady, it’s unresolved issues with Adam. For Marnie, it’s a growing frustration with Desi. And for Shoshanna — among other things — it’s about avoiding TED-style videos that pin point exactly what she’s doing wrong with her life.

  1. Superhero says:

It does tend to be problematic when one’s significant other reveals him/herself to be a Sith Lord, I have found.

  2. Sophod says:

Judging from this trailer Jessa and Adam will have some sort of fling.

  3. Drew says:

HBO should have pulled this series as soon as its star revealed herself to be a very disturbed pedophile. The fact that they didn’t speaks volumes about them and their priorities.

    • Someone says:

Can you be a pedophile at 7 years old?

      • Drew says:

Well, it was something that went on for many years, so I think the label fits. There is also “sexual predator”, “rapist”, “child molester”… take your pick.
I have seen numerous case where people who deal with children’s welfare have said that they would have investigated these actions and probably would have removed her from the home if they had come across a case like this. Felony charges could be filed… again, at seven years old it would be more about getting them out of the environment than locking them in prison, but the charges are still filed against kids who do this sort of thing. Odds are, her actions were learned. Meaning, someone probably abused her and she passed it on. That does not make her actions any less disgusting though. Nor does her making light of those actions to this day.

        • Abby says:

Prove you actually read the book, and agent just using the right-wing agenda to destroy Lena Dunham against her. You sound like you don’t have a single original thought on the issue, which to me suggests you’re merely repeating things you’ve read other people say about it, and it’s easy for you to believe because you disliked Lena long before the book came out anyway. Her alleged victims (single victim…) have defended her to say that how the passage was interpreted misrepresented what actually went on, so you’re doing no favors to actual victims of sexual assault by wasting time trying to bring Lena down for it.

          • Abby says:

And AREN’T just, not agent just…

          • Drew says:

Roman Polanski’s victim isn’t exactly pushing for his arrest either. Victims often just want it to go away.
I don’t have anything to prove to you. The stories are what they are, and if you don’t find them disturbing, that is on you.

    • Letti says:

I agree. I haven’t never watched this series, but what I’ve read about Lena was just disgusting. If she was a man, she would be hated by everyone and her series would end.

      • Drew says:

And don’t you love how speaking out against her now means that you’re a political spy of some sort? I guess anything goes as long as people like your show.
