Swift kicked off the 2014 American Music Awards on Sunday with the debut live performance of her new single “Blank Space,” which began as a recreation of her smash-hit music video — the senseless torturing of a well-dressed suitor — before expanding into a full-on pyrotechnic show.

  1. Robby Horine says:

It was awesome, but I had the volume down. “Shake it girl”.

  2. Cameron says:

    She’s overrated.

  3. Shannon says:

There was way too much going on. Just sing the song Taylor!

  4. James says:

Visually it was fun, but she still needs to work on her singing live. At the ending she let the backing track do a lot for her. But like I said, it was entertaining.

  5. Amanda says:

Visually great. The vocals were EXTREMELY weak.

  6. Jillian says:

I was so excited to see her perform this song until it looked lip-synced.

  7. L says:

Control room needs to do a better job with sound mix… was very hard to hear her.

  8. Temperance says:

Her performance was fine, but not nearly as great as the last few times. But it hardly matters, she went on to show she’s the coolest lady in the biz. She knew every single word to every song on the show, and she’s buds with all the real talent in the place.
