Shameless Season 5 First Look: The Gallaghers Take on Hipsters

Change, in the form of hipsters and coffee shops, is coming to Showtime’s Shameless, and the Gallagher clan is not happy about it in the Season 5 poster and behind-the-scenes video.

Fiona and her siblings love their crappy ‘hood for what it is, so they “hate the fact that the neighborhood is getting better,” star Emmy Rossum previews. Heck, they’re practically pounding down the door of the Zen Beanery in the following first look.

So just how much mayhem will the family get into? Well, the upcoming season is set in the summer, “which is always fun,” the actress notes. “The Gallaghers are outside. They’re rowdy.”

Translation: tons of trouble.

Really wish that Noel, Emma, and Joan could’ve been in the season five poster because they’re all main cast as well. …Even if the show still refers to Joan Cusack as a special guest star even though I’m pretty sure she’s been in every episode of the entire series.

Still really looking forward to the show!

I agree. I dislike that they normally exclude them from any sort of promo. I’m impressed Noel Fisher’s character was in any of the promotional materials this year. I don’t think that’s happened before.
