Video: Too Many Cooks Takes Sitcom Parody to a Wackadoodle New Level

It’s the funniest sitcom you’ve never seen — unless, of course, you happen to be watching Adult Swim at 4 am.

Earlier this week, the cable net stealthily debuted in the wee hours of the morning Too Many Cooks, an 11-minute riff on the lost art that is TV’s traditional opening title sequence that is so wrong it’s right.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

  1. Eric says:

Adult Swim’s programming is certainly designed with a certain demographic in mind. And I can bet you those people went nuts for this. I’ll be honest, I loved it too. But dang, was that ever trippy.

  2. bar says:

I saw that this was trending on twitter and din’t understand. I watched the first few minutes. I assume it just went on and on?

  4. Marky says:

Basically a bunch of tv critics and writers from 80s are having a nostalgia fit and making this video seem like the work of a satire genius.

  5. Christian says:

Sorry but that ish got tedious after about a minute. I had to turn it off.

  6. Jared Munson says:

I like how they changed the song after a few minutes, and even the title font, but they should’ve changed the cast font as well. Too much Family Matters.

  7. Kevin H. says:

This was awesome and so trippy. Whee!

  8. Little Scarf Girl says:

Hahaha, that was so weird. If I had been up at 4am watching this, I would have been creeped out towards the end. XD

  9. Babybop says:

What in the world… That was one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen.

  10. Joey says:

Clearly the most bizarre thing about this is that there is an actual human being named Gwydion Lashlee-Walton.
