Murder in the First‘s Meagen Fay — who will also appear in the second half of Mad Men‘s final season — has landed a recurring role on ABC’s Marvel’s Agent Carter, our sister site Deadline reports. Ready for more of today’s newsy nuggets? Well…

* Chris Rock and Bobby Moynihan take it to the streets in the promos for Rock’s upcoming Saturday Night Live hosting gig (NBC, 11:30/10:30c). Among the bits is Moynihan’s spot-on impersonation of musical guest Prince. Seriously, prepare to do a double take:

* Married Daily Show correspondents Jason Jones and Samantha Bee are writing a comedy pilot for TBS, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Starring Jones, the potential series would follow a string of family vacations, introducing a new destination each season.

* Syfy has renewed Ghost Hunters for a 10th season and Paranormal Witness for a fourth. Both were ordered for 13 more episodes and will return in 2015.

* Hallmark Channel has renewed Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove for a third season. The drama, starring Andie MacDowell as judge Olivia Lockhart, wrapped its second season earlier this month.

I believe that your sister site Deadline is reporting that TBS ordered the pilot. You make it sound as if they are going to pitch it when they write it.
