The 100 Cast Previews 'Dark Turns' in Season 2 — Plus: Who Survived?

The 100 Season 2

The 100 kicks off its sophomore season on Wednesday (The CW, 9/8c), and as TVLine learned during a recent visit to the show’s Vancouver set, not everyone made it out of June’s explosive finale unscathed.

“A lot of people have taken very dark turns,” says Eliza Taylor, who includes her own character in that statement. “I think [Clarke is] always slowly turning.”

But can you really blame the 100 for losing their cool? In addition to the already-hostile Grounders, the 100 will also face new potential enemies from Mount Weather in Season 2. Not to mention, there’s no telling what will happen once they’re finally reunited with the survivors of the Ark (a list that might include a few surprising faces).

Ricky Whittle — aka one half of The 100 super-couple Linctavia — adds that the 100’s true enemies this season might turn out to be themselves:

“Last year, everyone suffered physically; there was a lot of physical darkness going on. This year, I think, is going to be very much more mental. The darkness is going to take place within a lot of people. There are going to be a lot of monsters coming out from the inside rather than actually seeing them.”
