Cold Justice Spin-Off

TNT is hot for Cold Justice. The network has ordered a 10-episode spin-off of the real-life crime drama, which will focus on sex-related crimes, rather than homicides.

The untitled spin-off will follow former Harris County, Texas, prosecutors Casey Garrett and Alicia O’Neill as they travel to small towns across the United States “to help local law enforcement close cases that have sat dormant for years.”

TNT is planning to launch the new series in Spring 2015.

Ready for more of today’s newsy nuggets? Well…

* Speaking of spin-offs, ABC has officially greenlit Beyond the Tank, a 10-episode companion series about “the opportunities and challenges that come after striking a deal on Shark Tank.”

* Syfy’s Face Off will return for an eighth season on Jan. 13 at 9/8c — and there’s a twist! Cold Justice: SVU?

  2. Kvivik says:

Oh, so I guess I won’t be watching figure skating coverage on NBC anymore. Weir is creepy and Lipinski is an airhead…though Scott and Sandra were kinda dry last year. I’m all for change, but not with these two. I’ll try to get Canadian coverage if I can. They know how to cover winter sports right.

Beyond the Tank sounds interesting. We get to see more than just a 2 minute Update during the show.
