Outcast Pilot Cinemax

“Demons are the new zombies.”

Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman made that declaration on Friday, announcing via Twitter that Cinemax has greenlit production on Outcast, a pilot adaptation of his comic book series with artist Paul Azaceta.

Outcast, which released its first issue only last month, centers on Kyle Barnes, a young man who since childhood has been the target of demonic possession. Now Kyle is resolved to get at the truth about his curse, even if doing so could end all life on Earth. But hey, do what’s best for you!

The comic book series’ second issue is to be released this weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Kirkman will pen the pilot and serve as an executive producer.

as much as i love kirkman’s work, 1 issue is just not enough material to see if a series is good or not.
