Looks like Ichabod’s bestie-turned-worstie will have quite the presence in Sleepy Hollow‘s second season.
Neil Jackson, who guest-starred as Abraham Van Brunt in a Season 1 episode of Fox’s supernatural drama, will recur heavily when the series returns this fall, our sister site Deadline reports.
Sleepyheads will recall that Jackson’s character was a close pal of Ichabod’s — and a boyfriend of Katrina’s — before an unfortunate series of events turned him into the Headless Horseman.
In addition to playing Make It or Break It‘s Sasha, Jackson also has had roles on Flash Forward and CSI, as well as in the Bond film Quantum of Solace.
Jackson’s increased screen time jibes with what executive producer Ken Olin told TVLine last year. “I would imagine that we will definitely see [Abraham] more,” he said, noting that the first season’s cliffhanger was “based on the known history of the relationship between Katrina and the horseman’s former identity.”
He added: “That story has, by no means, been told yet.”Follow @kimroots
