Elizabeth Hurley Reigns Supreme In E!'s The Royals -- Watch First Teaser Trailer

“In case you’ve forgotten, we’re not a normal family,” Elizabeth Hurley‘s character says in the new teaser trailer for E!’s first scripted series The Royals. And she’s right — unless, of course, your definition of “normal” includes being a member of London’s most scandalous royal clan.

Premiering in 2015, the drama also stars William Moseley (The Chronicles of Narnia) and Alexandra Park (Home and Away), and promises plenty of skin and sin with absolutely no apologies whatsoever.

Perhaps Park’s character best sums up the show’s mentality when she admits, “I’m just a b—h with money and power … but I do make it look good.”

  1. Big Mike says:

Okay so where is this going.

  2. Sarah says:

Hmmm so it’s Reign with Peter instead of Susan (Narnia reference!), Elizabeth Hurley instead of a talented/*cough* higher paid actress! and since it’s E!, more skin than script. I call one and done!

  3. GeoDiva says:

Could be a trainwreck or guilty pleasure.

  4. liz says:

I’m totally going to watch. Hope its good. And the choice to cast Hurley is no way at ALL connected to her physical similarities to Kate Middleton :P

  5. Essie says:

It’s written by Mark Schwahn who wrote One Tree Hill which was my favorite tv series so I’ll give it a try.

  6. Ally Oop says:

Guilty pleasure all the way. Even though the premise is preposterous, I could probably get right into this show. It hasnt been picked up I’m Canada yet so hopefully soon. It’ll probably show up on Bravo, Superchannel or Showcase.
