9:30 pm Bad Teacher (CBS) | Series premiere: Ari Graynor (Fringe) stars as a former trophy wife who poses as a teacher at an upscale elementary school in an attempt to meet rich, single fathers and return to her lavish lifestyle. Rounding out the cast are Kristin Davis (Sex and the City), David Alan Grier (In Living Color), Sara Gilbert (Roseanne), Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars) and Sara Rodier (The Future).
10 pm Black Box (ABC) | Series premiere: Kelly Reilly (Sherlock Holmes) stars as Dr. Catherine Black, a world-renowned neurologist who will be challenged each week to diagnose and treat rare and bizarre cases — all while hiding that she’s bipolar. The cast also includes Vanessa Redgrave (Nip/Tuck), Terry Kinney (Oz) and Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad).
10 pm Elementary (CBS) | Holmes’ brother Mycroft makes a surprise return to New York and his motivations create tension between Holmes and Watson.
