9:30 pm The Mindy Project (Fox) | Tim Daly (Private Practice) guest-stars as a cop – and perhaps Mindy’s next crush – who reprimands Mindy after she gives his daughter birth control pills.

10 pm Fargo (FX) | Molly begins to suspect that Lester is involved with the murders, but her new boss points her in a different direction.

10:30 pm Faking It (MTV) | Series premiere: In this half-hour romantic comedy, Katie Stevens (American Idol) and Rita Volk (The Hungover Games) play best friends who, after a few failed attempts at becoming popular, are mistakenly outed as lesbians – and that gets them the buzzy status they were looking for.
