TVLine Items: HBO Teases The Leftovers, Felicity Alum's Covert Gig, Fox Goes Boom! and More

HBO premiered the first teaser for its buzzy drama The Leftovers on Sunday night, giving us just a taste of what we can expect from creator Damon Lindelof’s (Lost) rapture-centric series.

Starring Justin Theroux (Parks and Recreation) and Liv Tyler (The Incredible Hulk), The Leftovers focuses on a group of suburbanites left on earth after 2 percent of the world’s population suddenly disappears. Watch the teaser below:

Amy Jo Johnson (FlashpointFelicity) will recur in Season 5 of USA Network’s Covert Affairs as Hayley, an investigator for the National Counter Terrorism Center.

* Fox has acquired the stateside rights to Boom!, an Israeli game show in which contestants must answer trivia questions in order to diffuse bombs.

* The third season of Tyler, the Creator’s Loiter Squad premieres May 15 at 12/11c on Adult Swim.

* The six-episode second season of Ricky Gervais’ Netflix comedy series Derek premieres May 30.

* Food Network has ordered 26 more episodes of Beat Bobby Flay.

    I love that people are referencing Amy Jo’s Power Ranger days. I don’t care what she has done or will do, she is forever the Pink Ranger to me.

      I’m not sure if the original Israel show is opportunistic or ingenious… Or if FOX grabbing the rights is ironic, dumb, or tremendously sarcastic/xenophobic.
