I love the idea of a 12 episode miniseries, but how would this go on for years ad years?

    • johnhelvete says:

Movies do sequels all of the time. Perhaps season 1 is a complete story, season 2 a completely new story line etc.

      • johnhelvete says:

Clarify to mention that you could look at season 1 as the first film in a series, season 2 as the second film. Just done for TV and 12 hours long instead of a 150 minute film.

      • Midori4 says:

There is only one movie. This isn’t an idea that could have spam a sequel or two. Unless they are throwing out most of what made the movie story special I don’t see the point. I rather they spend more time on new ideas.

  2. Scott says:

But this isn’t some cheap paranormal-babble reality show. What on earth are Syfy thinking?

    • Teag says:

Defiance, Helix, Warehouse 13, Lost Girl, Haven, Being Human, Continuum and Bitten.

      • Scott says:

Not back for 3 months, season finished, cancelled (6 eps left), Canadian show (and season finished), final season in 6 months, cancelled, Canadian show, Canadian show (and season finishing).

Doesn’t leave very much does it?

      • As great as they are Lost girl and continuum sets not syfy showsthey are Canadian shows from a channel called showcase and usually air days to weeks before syfy gets them. Syfy actually has very little original shows and more shows ripped off from other countries that fit near the science fiction style shows it gets its roots from

  6. SyFyFan says:

Nice cast. Can’t wait to see it.

  7. James says:

I thought this was for USA. I’m muuuch less excited about it being on SyFy.

  8. EJ386 says:

With Aaron in it I will certainly watch he was one of the best things about Nikita!

  9. Alan says:

you can definitely tell its being made by some of the same people who made nikita given the cast, and im perfectly fine with that.
i had never seen the original movie when this was first rumoured so i checked it out, its an interesting concept that i couldnt help but feel was being squeezed into to short a time frame to make the movie work so i can definitely see how a tv series could expand on that and possibly tell the story better.
so far this is looking really good in my opinion.
