9 pm New Girl (Fox) | Alexandra Daddario (True Detective) guest-stars as hot new girl Michelle who moves into the building and catches the (very eager) eyes of Schmidt, Winston and Coach.

9:30 pm Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox) | Season finale: When Jake’s investigation of a philanthropic civic leader is shut down by Commissioner Podalski, he enlists Amy and Captain Holt to help him out, putting his job on the line. (Watch a sneak peek!)

9:30 pm Growing Up Fisher (NBC) | When Joyce lands a job in Mel’s office, Mel dreads working with his ex (Can anyone blame him?) but finds that it’s Joyce and his secretary Janice who can’t seem to get along.

10 pm Jim Henson’s Creature Shop Challenge (Syfy) | Series premiere: The eight-episode competition series features 10 aspiring creature creators trying to out-imagine each other in the world of creature design, fabrication and mechanization. They compete for a prize worth up to $100,000 and the job of a lifetime – a contract working at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.

10 pm Cougar Town (TBS) | Jules convinces Chick to look at houses nearby after he experiences Alzheimers symptoms, but Grayson accidentally (and regrettably) suggests that Chick instead move in with them.
