Of series vet Mariska Hargitay’s first turn as director, Kelli Giddish reports, “In my first scene she found this moment that wasn’t on the page at all, and while I never had any doubts, I was like, ‘Man, she is really good at this.’ It was good to see the cast and crew rally behind our leading lady and put together a great episode for her debut.” (Watch a sneak peek.)
