The family comedy will finish airing its second season on the cabler and then return later this year with its third and final set of episodes.

See Dad Run‘s 14-episode third season will culminate in a special hour-long finale.

The cancellation, following the end of Wendell & Vinnie, means that Instant Mom will be the only original comedy left at Nick at Nite.

You mean NICK @ NITE’s only original comedy. I know you were going by the fact that Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite are separate networks according to Nielsen, but Nickelodeon still has its Saturday night comedies plus three upcoming picked up last week. Nick @ Nite was never mentioned in this article

Aww, too bad. This show is really cute. Scott Baio doing that weird “Girl Let’s Skate Backwards” song is one of my favorite things ever.

So sick of the way shows are being cancelled ! Scott Baio and cast have done a great job. Too bad our family shows get yanked …..if it’s a ratings issue then change writers ! We want our show to continue. This family will search other networks now ! Boo Nick at Nite !

I have to watch so many shows I can’t stand because of the grandkids. This was the one show I liked. I think Scott is an excellent comedic actor and the girls playing the daughters are awesome as well. I really hope the brass reconsiders and keeps this show. Like someone said change the writers or whatever you have to do to keep the show going.

  8. Chris says:

What they should do is continue the show in first run syndication on local stations that way it can attract more of an audience I love Scott baio in this show I think he was fantastic his character reminded me of chachi a little bit

Another fun family show gets axed! This show needs to be picked up by Abc family or even Fox.This show is better than most of the shows on the big networks. Also this show aired Sundays? Horrible time slot! Nfl Football is all over Sundays and then Mlb baseball in the summer! Hopefully it gets picked up by another station.
