Broadway star Norbert Leo Butz is being welcomed into Netflix’s newest family.
Per our sister site Deadline, the Tony Award winner has joined Netflix’s untitled psychological thriller about a family of adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when the black sheep oldest brother returns home.
Butz will play Kevin, the youngest brother in the Rayburn family, who owns a boat repair yard and considers himself to be the “unofficial mayor” of his small coastal town.
Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises) and Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks) have been cast as Kevin’s older siblings, while Sissy Spacek (Big Love) will play their mother.
The 13-episode series is exec-produced by Damages creators Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler.
