Daddy’s home!

Following this week’s big reveal on The Originals – Rebekah and Marcel were responsible for bringing Mikael to New Orleans in 1919 — next Tuesday’s episode (8/7c on The CW) shows how the betrayal went down.

New shots from the flashback episode show Papa Mikaelson, family photo in hand, approaching Marcel for intel on his estranged son. And as we all know, he’s not interested in tossing the ol’ pigskin around.

It looks like we’ll also see some tender moments — and some not-so-tender moments — between Elijah and Celeste. Judging by her dual portrayers, it’s also possible we’ll have some vision action going on.

Lastly, this batch of photos contains present-day shots of Klaus — looking far more vertical than we last saw him — with a massive (White Oak?) stake at the ready. Needless to say, Rebekah had better watch her back.

    • I’m guessing it could be Davinas body?

    • Judging from the last picture, I’d say it’s probably Davina.

  • That would be the only stake that can kill an original, right? The indestructible one that their mother made using Alaric’s ring.

  • That’s not just a stake, that’s the white oak stake aka the only stake that can kill Rebekah. Harsh Klaus.

  • Can’t tell if that the white oak stake or the witch’s dagger that was inside Klaus.

  • How exactly does the timeline work, wasn’t Rebekah madly in love with Stefan when Michael tracked them down?

    • No. After they fled New Orleans, Rebekah and Klaus went to New York (I think–can’t remember for sure which big city) and Stephen became friends with Klaus and then of course, Rebekah fell in love with Stephen.

      • Yeah that’s right except it was Chicago.

    • I think they said early on that Rebekah thought Marcel died in New Orleans. So she probably fell for Stefan once they got to Chicago, which isn’t suprising because she falls for everyone. I like her, so I hope she can learn to be strong on her own, without needing a man in her life. Of course, with Klaus destroying every relationship she’s ever had, it’s no surprise that that’s all she wants.

  • I’m over Klaus tbh he’s always whining about people betraying him but how many times now has he daggered Elijah or Rebekah?

Comment by Katy – February 27, 2014 03:13 PM PDT  Reply To This Post
    • He basically just put them to sleep. He never tried to permanently kill them like Rebekah did to him

      • Well, Klaus is trying to kill Rebekah now so he’s worse because he committed all those sins and now he’s also trying to kill them for “revenge” and he probably doesn’t even regret it like Rebekah did.

  • That Elijah/Celeste moment looks modern going by his suit. Maybe she’s in his dreams?

    • Im thinking he might be “seeing” her in a vision of some kind. Because the pics with new celeste looks chilly. Honestly, Daniel Gillies in a suit. Cant wait for the next episode because Hayley does have new Celeste right?

  • I don’t think Klaus is holding a stake…I think it’s Papa Tunde’s knife…

  • God I seriously hate Klaus. He ruined all his siblings life and now he wants revenge for them fighting against him for their freedom. I hope this abusive asshole stakes himself.

  • Something is definitely wrong with all the Mikaelsons….whenever things are getting little better, all goes wrong…I wish Rebekah really tells Klaus that it’s his own fault that made his sister do such thing against him….both Elijah and Rebekah have proved their love towards Klaus more than enought times but even then he feels insecure…..IDIOT

P.S: I read somewhere that Rebekah did try to back off from calling Mikael but it was too late….is it true? I am not regular with The Originals so plz can someone tell me

    • yes it is true. rebekah asks the witch to cancel the spell but the witch says she can’t undo it.

klaus needs to grow a pair already! show your siblings that you can forgive because they have done the same for you too many times!
