  • Hope there won’t be another GIRLS parody like they did in the Tina Fey episode.

    • Man she’s ugly! I meant unfunny…

  • I wonder if she’ll actually be able to do it since it’s on a main network & she won’t be able to get naked for no reason to disgust/distract the audience from the fact that she’s a crap actress/writer.

    • Thumbs up to this.

  • Meh…I suspect it will be a rather lackluster episode. Are the producers of SNL really that hard pressed for hosting talent?

  • She may be not the best actress but she can actually bring some good and fresh ideas for sketches. I’m looking forward to this.

    Also The National are great.

  • As long as she keeps her clothes on and dresses appropriately for her body type…..
    I still won’t watch.

    • What, so only skinny people should be comfortable with their bodies and allowed to get naked?

Comment by Ernst2k – February 25, 2014 11:42 AM PDT  Reply To This Post
  • Wait. She will have to stay clothed, ACT and share the screen with talented, funny people. Does not look good for her or us.

  • Well, that’s 90 minutes of my life that I can spend doing something worthwhile, like watching someone with actual talent. Aren’t her 15 minutes of fame up yet?

  • I’m just going to pretend SNL doesn’t return until the third or fourth week of March..

  • Haters gonna hate. Lena is charming and hilarious. I’m excited to see her on SNL.

  • Personally don’t really care about Lena hosting, on account of simply not being familiar with her work. However, I’m stoked to see The National! Hands down, my favorite band right now.

  • The real question is…how loudly will the audience “boo” her?

  • Yes! Can not wait, Lena Dunham is amazing!

  • Really Jim Parsons followed by Lena Dunham? If I didn’t enjoy the cast members so much I wouldn’t watch.

  • This no talent ‘person’ gets a shot at hosting while Mariska Hargitay is still begging for her shot?

NBC, she’s been a faithful soldier for 14 years. She’s earned her shot.

    • No talent ‘person’? You’re disputing whether or not Lena is a real girl or if women are ‘people’ at all in your books?

Though I do agree about Hargitay. Nbc isn’t exactly known for rewarding loyalty.
