John Leguizamo The Good WifePeter Florrick has been replaced.

John Leguizamo (ER) will guest-star on The Good Wife as the new Cook County State’s Attorney, E! Online reports.

Leguizamo’s character, who took over the position after Peter was elected Governor, is described as a well-liked leader intent on making the State’s Attorney’s office fair for everybody.

The actor will appear in one episode airing this spring.

The Good Wife returns on Sunday, March 9 at 9/8c on CBS.

  • This gave me a shock. At first I thought the actor playing Peter was being replaced. Thank goodness it’s not the case.

  • odd choice, but TGW hasn’t done a casting misstep yet, so I trust them. And “one” episode; sure sure. He’ll pop up a few more times to be sure.
